Founder of The Yianis Group and Yianis Christodoulou Foundation, John Christodoulou has pledged his support to join the fight against coronavirus by supplying the families of the Cyril Jackson School with much needed food parcels. Bobby Zamora, former professional English footballer who played for England as well as West Ham United supported the foundation by presenting the parcels to the school. The property entrepreneur and philanthropist founded The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation in 2016 after years of supporting charitable causes, and with a clear objective to help those most vulnerable because of the impact of COVID 19, John and the Foundation’s team wanted to help in any way they could. The Foundation purchased food parcels for each pupil and their families attending the school based in Limehouse Causeway, Poplar, London E14 8BN. The food packs were agreed along with the school to ensure that their contents included what was most needed such as rice, flour, long life milk, cereal and many other staple items. Founder of The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation, John Christodoulou said: “Mine and The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation’s principles are built on mainly helping children and allowing them to fulfil their potential however, with this current crisis many more need help especially the schools who help the families in their community and need support more than ever to do this.” “We worked with and listened to the organisations to ensure we were providing them with necessary products. We also worked with key suppliers from the hospitality sector to ensure that we were also giving back to our own industry whilst at the same time supporting another.” ​ The foundation has also delivered over 6,000 energy boosting packs to the entire staff of the Royal London Hospital, food packs to the elderly and vulnerable members of the Cypriot community in the UK, and energy packs to all of the staff of the public hospitals in Cyprus.
