Completed! Upgrade of Outdoor Basketball Court At Aglantzia Gymnasium - Nicosia - Cyprus

The mission of the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation is to empower underprivileged children and to help them reach their full potential. The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation responded to the school’s Headteacher Mr Petros Michael and the Parents Association request for financial support. It’s with great pleasure that we can finally announce the upgrade completion of Aglantzia Gymnasium’s outdoor Basketball Court and the installation of multi-purpose flooring.   Founder of the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation , Mr John Christodoulou acknowledges that physical education is essential for the development of intellectual and social skills, as well as a good mental health. The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation actively sponsors team sports and are proud to have funded this project.   The official opening ceremony was organised on the 26^th of May in the presence of Mr John Christodoulou, the Mayor of Aglantzia, the President of the local School Board and the director of the Technical Services of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth as well as Ambassadors of the Foundation Christian Moore, Film Director (the son of the famous actor Roger Moore), Constantinos Charalambides, successful international ex-football player and coach of the national U17 team, as well as Eleni C, Singer/Songwriter.
