Construction of Shelter For Evaggelismos Public Special Needs School - Nicosia - Cyprus

It is with great happiness that we announce the beginning of the implementation of projects worth €300,000 to support all 9 public special schools operating in Cyprus. Following the Charity Gala Dinner that was organized last July with the participation of the beloved Anna Vissi and the contribution of many sponsors, our Foundation collected €300.000. The amount will be divided equally to all nine special schools, so that each school will receive €33.333 for the upgrade of its infrastructure, purchase of equipment, improvement of school’s facilities etc. as per the needs of disabled children attending the school.

After the approval of all requests and donation by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth, our Foundation is pleased to announce the start of the first project.

The YCF will cover the cost of building a shelter (steel canopy) at Evaggelismos Special School (Nicosia). The shelter will only connect the two school buildings but it will mostly protect children with disabilities, from rain and sun, when boarding and disembarking from the bus. The project has been approved by the Technical Services of the Ministry of Education and the YCF will donate €33.333.
