The Yianis Group owns the Park Inn Palace Hotel in Southend and has been showing support to charities in areas where they own real estate assets throughout the Coronavirus outbreak.

Founder of The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation, John Christodoulou said: “It is important to continue our efforts throughout this crisis to help our local communities in need”

“It means a lot to receive support from Eddie and his family, and the staff and volunteers from the charities were delighted to be able to meet them and be personally thanked for their ongoing hard work.”

Sally Manzoni, Operational Manager, Family Action in Southend said: “Family Action would like to say a huge thank you to The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation for their kind generosity. The parcels will really be appreciated by the families we support in Southend and we know that the children especially, will enjoy the crayons and colouring books.”

Cllr Anne Jones, cabinet member for Children & Learning at Southend-on-Sea Borough Council added: “I would like to thank The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation for their generosity in donating these parcels, which will help keep young families fed through what continues to be a very challenging time for many.
