Results of The Pancyprian Secondary Schools Competition Entitled 'Keep Fit & Healthy Through Boxing

The 'Yianis Christodoulou Foundation' would like to congratulate all students who have participated in the Pancyprian School Competition, entitled 'Keep Fit and Healthy through Boxing' which was organised among Public Secondary and VET Schools. A great number of posters with slogan were submitted indicating the interest and awareness of both students and teachers for the benefits of sports for the overall development of children. The three winning schools that will receive the 3 prizes are the following:

1st Prize €10.000

    The prize money will be utilised for the purchase of essential equipment for Physical Education as proposed by the winning schools. As a result it is expected that Physical Education lessons will be enhanced and ungraded. Each proposal will be discussed and amended, if necessary, in consultation with all stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC), Directorates of Secondary Education, Technical Services etc.
