The ‘Yianis Christodoulou Foundation’ supported the first steps of the setting up of the SISTEMA, CYPRUS by purchasing stringed instruments that will be used by children and young people. More specifically, the YCF has purchased 18 stringed instruments (8 violas, 5 cellos and 5 double basses). Through this cooperation the YCF aims to provide accessible music education for all children. The YCF is proud to see that the integration of a deprived group of children into the community is achieved through using music for social development. Music has no boundaries and no borders! Music opens up new routes and creates new potential for young people to explore.
