'Swim Out In The Open' - Swimming For A Better Future For Children
Aiming to promote outdoor sports and especially swimming to maintain physical and mental health, the Kyrenia Nautical Club, Masters category, which consists of veteran swimming athletes, organizes the charity event "swim out", on Sunday 28 November, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the Harmony Bay Hotel in Limassol.
The aim of the event is the financial support and upgrading of the Kaimakli Children Protection and Care Center (Kaimakli Children's Club), a program of the Kaimakli Community Welfare Council, undertaken by the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation.
"Swim Out in the Open" is held for the 4th time in order to enhance charitable activities related to children. The event is addressed not only to swimming athletes, but also to those who love the sport, as it includes 200m swimming routes for novice swimmers, 1km and 2km for experienced swimmers and 4km for advanced swimmers.
The public can support the event, either by registering by participating in the event, or through a donation. Registrations are made through the website https://fienta.com/2021-swim-out-in-the-open.
All money raised from the event will be donated directly and exclusively for the upgrading of the Kaimakli Children's Club, which has been undertaken by the "Yianis Christodoulou Foundation", an institution that paves the way for opportunities in living and education, with the mission to support and assist vulnerable groups of children and young people.
